Qualifications that you will need in order to work in SEO often vary depending on the type of role. Many SEO workers possess degrees in marketing or business but this is not essential. Having previous marketing experience is often important. You will need to be self-motivated and have a good eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for all SEO workers as they will need to be capable of presenting their results to management on a regular basis.
