I am a professional writer and i sped most of the time in writing articles. Many of the marketers suggests that writing articles helps in getting an one way back link to the original site. I have a software that could post the articles automatically. I can see a number of articles listed out in any search engine when i search with my name. I am afraid what could those people who does not write articles would do to get back links.
Before submitting the article on a new article directory, i always used to look for the article directories that has a PR of 0 to 5 which helps me to gain more number of matches. I used to focus on the sites that have a greater PR than my site. Even though marketers say that Google is the lead, i am more convenient with search engines like Yahoo,MSN and AlltheWeb to find the matches. My matches ranges from 500 to 10,000 over a period of time.
A best way to make people who does not like to write blogs is commenting. Blogs drag a lot of traffic and hence commenting keeps the blog updated. I even have a tool called Comment hut which makes me to comment on blogs. Search can be made both in forms of keyword based and PR based. I suggest using blogs instead of Google PR.
Considering the need for instant commenting, an automated software can be used to comment on the blog posts. But imagine what might will be the consequences if you are blocked as a spammer? you will lose a number of valuable visitors of your blog. Such software are not preferred. It is better to have a list of comments in a word file and can be used whenever required. This is applicable only if SEO is concerned.
Many of them might think that there is no other effective way compared to writing articles. If you can perform a Google search with my name, you can see that all of my comments were at the top of the listing right from the second page of the list. Even before my article site shows up. No matter on what is the number of matches that is listed. My comments will be at the top.
